At the International Child Abuse Network, (Yes
ICAN), we believe that it is in the best interest
of those learning about
child abuse and those on their healing journey to know about, understand,
and
be aware of the legal/social issues of child abuse. To this end we
have created a place for current
news items to be examined, representing a
variety of issues and opinions. These articles do not
necessarily
represent the opinion of Yes ICAN,
but are provided to give a view of the ways
in which child abuse
"news" may impact us...as the healer, the teacher, the survivor,
the victim,
the parent, the student or simply as a concerned citizen.
We also hope that you will take the time to make your
own voice heard, regardless of your opinion,
by informing your government
representatives of what you feel is appropriate action.
